This itinerary starts from the Chiesa di San Cristoforo (Church) - 1538, not far away we can admire Palazzo Caiselli (XVIIIth century) and Palazzo Florio (XVIIIth century); turning onto via Antonini,we encounter to the left Palazzo Antonini-Cernazai (XVIth century) which, together with Palazzo Florio, is one of the main buildings of the University of Udine, and opposite it is Palazzo Antonini Casa Grande, now the headquarters of the Bank of Italy and designed by Andrea Palladio.
Proceeding on via Gemona,we find on the right the Casa che fu di Giovanni da Udine (House that formerly belonged to Giovanni da Udine), and on its façade there are still traces of frescos and stuccos he had created himself.
We now take via Giovanni da Udine, beautiful with its characteristic paving stones and its old noble residences; and so we reach the Collegio Uccellis (College), going through its beautiful portal adorned with a coat of arms in cast iron.
Palazzo Polcenigo-Garzolini on via Gemona is worthy of note, and it was the XVIIIth-century headquarters of the Toppo-Wassermann College (closed for maintenance).
