The Cathedral Museum of Udine is dedicated to the Patriarch Blessed Bertrando di Saint Geniès (1265-1350), a figure of political and ecclesiastical importance who made significant contributions during his rule (1334-1350). The museum contains a significant patrimony of the history, culture and art of the patriarchate of Aquileia during the age of Blessed Bertrando, but is also a “high” expression of the Christian faith of the Mother Church of Aquileia.
